Data Collection

ShiftClock collects NO data whatsoever.

This app is designed with privacy as its core principle. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

Local Storage Only

All data created and used by ShiftClock is stored exclusively on your device:

• Shift patterns - Your work schedule configurations
• Sleep windows - Calculated sleep recommendations
• Circadian data - Personal sleep timing preferences
• App settings - Notification preferences and display options

All data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

No Third-Party Services

ShiftClock does not use:

• Analytics SDKs or tracking services
• Advertising networks
• Cloud storage (except optional iCloud backup, controlled by you)
• External APIs for data processing

HealthKit Integration (Optional)

If you choose to enable HealthKit integration:

• Sleep data is only shared with Apple's Health app
• No sleep data leaves your device
• You can disable this feature at any time in Settings
• This integration is completely optional

Notifications

ShiftClock uses local notifications to remind you about:

• Optimal bedtime windows
• Wake time recommendations
• Caffeine cutoff times

These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is transmitted externally.
