Welcome to TendPaw. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TendPaw mobile application ("TendPaw," "the App," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

TendPaw helps users organize pet care information, including pet profiles, care tasks, reminders, care records, weight records, photos, and related pet routine information. The App is intended for personal household pet care organization.
TendPaw is an organization and reminder tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical, diagnostic, treatment, medication, nutrition, or emergency advice. Information in the App, including templates and reminders, is general in nature and may not be appropriate for your pet. Always consult a licensed veterinarian or qualified professional for your pet's health, medication, vaccination, deworming, emergency, or treatment needs.
Do not delay seeking professional care because of something shown in the App. If you believe your pet may have a medical emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital immediately.
You are responsible for the information you enter into the App and for verifying all dates, reminders, schedules, doses, notes, and care instructions. You are also responsible for maintaining your device, notification settings, Apple ID, and any backups you choose to use.
Notifications and reminders may fail, arrive late, or be unavailable for reasons outside our control, including device settings, Focus modes, notification permissions, network issues, operating system behavior, or other technical limitations. You should not rely on TendPaw as the sole method for time-sensitive or safety-critical pet care.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
TendPaw may offer free features and paid features, including TendPaw Plus. Paid features may be offered as auto-renewable subscriptions or one-time purchases through Apple's App Store. Prices, billing periods, and included features are shown in the App and in Apple's purchase confirmation screen before purchase.
Auto-renewable subscriptions are subject to the TendPaw Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms. Purchases and refunds are processed by Apple and may be subject to Apple's terms and policies.
Your use of TendPaw is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled when you use the App. Please review it carefully.
The App, including its design, software, text, graphics, logos, icons, features, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code from, or create derivative works based on the App, except where applicable law allows it despite this restriction.
You retain ownership of pet profiles, photos, notes, records, and other information you enter into the App ("User Content"). You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to enter or store any User Content in the App.
You may not use the App to store or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or privacy-invasive content.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time. We may also add, change, or remove features, including free or paid features, as the App evolves. We are not responsible for interruptions or data loss caused by device failure, operating system changes, App Store issues, user deletion, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
The App may rely on Apple services, such as the App Store, StoreKit, notifications, photo access, and other iOS features. Your use of those services may be subject to Apple's terms, privacy policies, and settings.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, or suitable for any specific pet care need.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, pet health outcomes, missed reminders, or other losses arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the App.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
